Obituary of Kriss Kevin Boatman

Kriss Kevin Boatman, 46, of Mayer, MN passed away on September 9, 2023 following his heroic battle with cancer. Kriss is survived and dearly missed by his devoted wife, Patty Lanting-Boatman; stepson, Anthony Ragusa; father, Dean Boatman; mother, LaVonne Gunderson; and sister, Sonja (Isaac) Anderson; and many other loving relatives and friends.

He will be dearly missed by his comembers at the Mayer Area Lions club, and his coworkers at Culligan, where he took pride in his position as an installer. He is a member of IAM Local Lodge 459. He enjoyed riding his Harley, attending the Sturgis Rally and Lucas Oil NHRA races in BIR, and weekends at the lake cabin in Chetek, WI.

Kriss’s desire is to be cremated with a life celebration in his memory. Plans for his celebration of life is tentatively planned on October 14, 2023 at Knucklehead’s Bar and Grill in Mayer following a tributary casting of his ashes via motorcycle locally.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kriss’s memory can be made to the Mayer Area Lions or Ridgeview Foundation.
