Obituary of Lynne Angela Speed

Lynne Angela Speed, age 75, of Woodbury, passed away from pancreatic cancer on August 17, 2023, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, Minnesota. 

Those left to cherish her loving memory include her daughter, Angela Lynne Speed, son-in-law, Ryan Helgeson, and two grandchildren, Alexander and David. Also surviving is her sister, Sharon Cole, extended family, and loving friends. 

Lynne is preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, David Speed, as well as her parents, Bertha and Donald Bedal, and two siblings named after her parents.

Lynne was born on August 20, 1947, in Brainerd, Minnesota. She graduated from Brainerd’s Washington High School, married in 1969, and moved to the twin cities, settling in Arden Hills. After retiring from her position in acquisitions at US Bank, she later went on to own and operate Garage Tech with her husband. Year-round, Lynne spent her weekends enjoying her lake home in Hayward, Wisconsin, and her kind nature made her a wonderful friend. She had a strong faith and volunteered at Eagle Brook Church. She passed while in the process of moving into her new dream home in Prior Lake to be near her daughter.

The funeral service and reception will be held at Westgate Church in Plymouth, Minnesota, on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
