Mary Jo Crever was the daughter of Steve & Alma Ohmann. She was raised in Freeport, MN, moved to Maple Lake in grade school, then moved to St. Cloud. She was a high school graduate of St. Cloud Cathedral. She went on to Alexandria Tech for her nursing degree, where she worked at St. Cloud Hospital as a pediatric nurse. She later gained her drafting degree at St. Cloud Tech.
Mary Jo married Jerry Crever on July 1st, 1972, at St. Cloud Cathedral Church. Mary Jo and Jerry lived in their self-built home in Sartell, MN, for eight years before having their son John Crever on August 26th, 1980. They later moved to their St. Stephen home in 1984 when their daughter Jackie Crever was born on May 21st, 1984. Mary Jo and her family lived in St. Stephen for 38 years before moving with their daughter to Annandale.
Mary Jo was involved in the Sartell School, where her children attended. Organizing carnivals, volunteering in the classroom, and planning fundraisers. She taught religion classes at St. Francis Xavier for many years. She always had a gift for working with teenage students. She touched many lives, always had amazing advice, and loved with her whole heart with everything she did.
Mary Jo ran Crever Construction with her husband for 40 years. Her greatest achievement was her unwavering passion and unconditional love for being a mom. Her two children were her world, which showed in everything she did with them and who they became as young adults.
Survivors include husband Jerry Crever, Daughter Jackie Crever (Nick Flattum), son John Crever (Sara Crever), grandson Jayden Crever, granddaughter Lauren Crever, and sister Myrna Ohmann (Ron Ohmann).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Alma Ohmann, her sister Carale Meredith, and her in-laws, Al and Hilda Crever.
