Beverly M. (Seifert) Meyer

Beverly M. Meyer, age 93, formerly of Pequot Lakes, passed into the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 29, 2023 at Mala Strana Assisted Living and Rehabilitation Center in New Prague, MN.

Beverly was born in Princeton, MN to mother Mary (Nekola) and father Joseph Seifert, Jr. A graduate of South High School in Minneapolis, Beverly worked as a switchboard operator for Pure Oil until a devastating kidney illness kept her out of the work force for two decades. Through the grace of God Beverly recovered and went on to work as a Supply Manager for the Fairview Hospital system in Princeton and Minneapolis. She volunteered and served for decades in her faith communities, loved traveling with family, sewing and caring for grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lois Oftedahl and Mary Sibell, brothers Francis (Bud) Seifert and Joseph Kaley. Survived by son Joe (Joannie) Meyer, daughter Pegge (Steve Lesser) Meyer; grandchildren Christina, Brandon, Bethany, Sarah and Megan; great-grandchildren Graedyn, Owen, Ava, Bennett, Maeve, Elena, Anne, Andrew, William, Stellan, Declan, Catherine, James and Gabriel along with many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., September 12, 2023 at St. Alice Catholic Church 30918 Rasmussen Rd, Pequot Lakes, MN. Visitation 10 - 11 a.m. at the church. Private interment at St. Edward’s Cemetery (within Oak Knoll Cemetery) in Princeton, MN.
