Obituary of Marion Delores Osen

Osen, Marion Delores (Bakken) Age 93, of Golden Valley, passed away July 9, 2016 peacefully in her sleep. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Thornton Osen; parents, John Hans and Sadie Bakken; brother, Alfred; and grandson, Christian Osen. Marion was a wonderful wife and partner to Ralph Osen for 61 years. She was a Girl Scout leader for years. She quietly served family elders during their final years. She was a gifted rosemaler and homemaker. She was happiest in her home, garden and at her lake place. Survived by her children, Chery (Gene) Knaeble and John (Karen) Osen; grandchildren, Emily and Adam Knaeble and Anders Osen. Funeral Service at Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Golden Valley, Monday, July 18 at 1 PM. Visitation one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to Make-A-Wish Minnesota.
