Survived by son Merle Olson; daughter Carol (Al) Mathiowetz; grandchildren Lisa (Brent), Lee (Molly), Julie, Charles (Lindsay), Robert (Mayra), Ryan, Annie (Drew); great-grandchildren Logan, Kennedy, Levi, Hailey, Veronica, Madalynn, Bo; sister Anna Mae Swanson. Private service. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
