Obituary of Amey Louise Bartlett
Dr. Amey Lousie Lowdenback Bartlett made us laugh. She did many things in life but her presence and faith in God made us all feel like we were loved and accepted from the start.
Amey was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on June 14th, 1973, to Ed & Sharon Lowdenback. Being the oldest of four children she kept her parents on their toes. She graduated from Deming High School and had big ambitions for her future. She went on to attend and graduate from Transylvania University and advance to University of Kentucky Dental School. Becoming a Pediatric dentist was a specialty that only a select few accomplish. She had a passion for kids and helping them feel trusted and cared for. Amey started her own practice in Georgetown, Kentucky and eventually in Minnesota as well.
Amey married Rich Bartlett in October of 2021 and was still pinching herself at finding the love of her life.
When Amey wasn’t being Dr. Amey, you could find her on the golf course, or with her friends at Dellwood Country Club, or in one of her favorite beach vacation spots. She loved to give back and was always the first to offer a hand in any situation.
Amey is survived by Husband Rich Bartlett, Sons Grant and Grady Severson, Stepchildren Andrew and Vanessa Bartlett, Grandson Thomas Bartlett, Parents Dr. Edward and Sharon Lowdenback, Siblings, Dr. Cliff Lowdenback, Amanda Lowdenback, Roy Lowdenback, Sister-in-law Dr. Rachel Lowdenback, Nieces and Nephews, Thomas and Oliver Tierney, Caroline, Annie, Olivia Lowdenback.
Amey will be remembered for her humor, authenticity, love of life and being the life of the party.
Amey’s Celebration of Life will be held at Dellwood Country Club at 29 E Hwy 96, Dellwood, MN 55110, on August 11th, 2023, at 4 P.M.
