In 1930 the family moved to Duluth where Reggie attended school before entering the Navy. Reggie proudly served his country in the Navy from 1945 to 1951 both as active duty overseas and the reserves. After a few years on his own he met the love of his life Marjorie Kajawa. Once finished serving his country Reggie established his career with Reserve Mining as a well-respected mechanic. Reggie and Marge were blessed with three sons who shared his passion of the outdoors. An avid hunter, fisher, agate collector and storyteller Reggie spent most of his time enjoying nature and all it had to offer. Over the years Reggie met many people who became like family. Sharing experiences and making countless memories. When he wasn’t out exploring one could likely find him at his favorite establishment, The Green Door. His presence was always welcomed with an inviting smile and a cold Busch. Reggie’s will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
