Obituary of Dale Erwin Woehning

Dale E Woehning, 79, born October 10,1943, passed away June 28, 2023, in Grand Rapids MN.

Dale is survived by his daughters Denise Logas (Larry), Dana Santi (Kurt), and son Paul Woehning (Mindy), loving grandfather to Vanessa McNally (Ben), Kody Frenette, Casey Logas (Brad), Austin Frenette (Torrie), and Damian Logas. Great grandchildren Kai McNally and baby
boy Frenette expected in December 2023, and his niece Shiloh Trenholm (Joe). Preceded in death by his parents, Erwin (Bud) and Ingrid, and his sister Sandra Jakubic.

Dale’s journey began in Golden Valley, MN where he graduated Robbinsdale High School in 1961, after graduation he enlisted in the Navy, and set sail on the USS Bon Homme Richard, and then stateside serving from 1961 to 1967, after his service he made a splash working along side his father Bud building and maintaining pools, and eventually steering his way into the trucking industry, where he became a self-employed road warrior.

In his leisure time, Dale enjoyed drag racing his 1965 Corvette “The US Male” from 1965 to 1972, and found immense pleasure in camping with his children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.

A celebration of Dale’s life will take place on August 17th, 2023, at 3:00 pm in The Crown Room, located at 20500 S Diamond Lake Rd, Rogers MN. In the spirit of Dale’s laid-back style, the family kindly requests casual attire, ready to celebrate a life well lived.

Private Interment August 18th, 2023, at Camp Ripley, Little Falls MN.
