Obituary of Lance Cameron Fraser
Lance Cameron Fraser died on July 9, 2023.
Lance was born on May 15, 1954 to Gordon and Betty Jayne Fraser. He graduated from Robbinsdale High School in 1972.
Lance was a classically trained and accomplished pianist and he studied under Leah Bernstein and Bernard Weiser, professor at the University of Minnesota. While in high school, Lance took State in classical piano competition. Lance performed at many venues in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in the 1970’s and 80’s. He played at the downtown Minneapolis location of Dayton Hudson for several years.
Lance had a lifelong love of antiquities and art. He frequented museums, antique shops, auctions and estate sales, educating himself on antiques and looking for his treasured collection. He bought and sold antiques locally, nationally and internationally.
In the later years of his life, he worked as a real estate agent, helping his clients buy and sell their homes.
Lance was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Andrew Lawrence Fraser.
Lance is survived by his brother Scott Roderick Fraser, sister Brooke Allison Labano, uncle Clifford Fraser, and many cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 29, 2023 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will take place at 4:30.
