Obituary of Jacqueline Mary Lehman

Jacqueline Mary (Wilson) Lehman, 79, of Blaine, MN, passed away in her home on May 22, 2023.

Jackie was born in Phoenix, AZ, to John K. Wilson and Josephine (McGeehan) Eichler on July 8, 1943. She graduated from Mounds View Senior High School in 1961. Jackie and Larry Lehman married at Mounds View Presbyterian Church of the Way on January 22, 1966. She attended Mounds Midway School of Nursing and graduated as a registered nurse on June 9, 1973. Jackie was an RN for over twenty years, including work as a geriatric nurse at nursing homes. Later in life, Jackie also held other positions, including proofreader and medical transcriber.

Jackie shared her many gifts. She was an extremely talented seamstress, an exceptional calligrapher, a magnificent cook and baker whose meals and treats were immensely enjoyed by all, including the new recipes she always ventured to try. She loved arts and crafts, creating her own hand soaps and candles. For many years on Thursdays, she volunteered at her local food shelf. She enjoyed singing in choir and playing the piano. Jackie also earned her brown belt with black stripe in Taekwondo. Jackie was a devout reader of the Holy Bible. Most importantly to Jackie, she loved her family, her country, and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jackie is survived by husband, Larry Lehman of 57 years. Jackie is survived by her two children: son, Curtis Lehman (Wendy Holland) and daughter, Alexandra (Lehman) Emerton. Jackie is survived by her beloved grandson, Connor Lehman. Jackie is survived by her sister, Judith K. (Wilson) Neumann. Jackie is survived by her sisters-in-law, Adelaide “Addie” (Jeff) Wilson and Paula (Timothy) Wilson; brother-in-law, John “Jack” Lehman; and many nephews and nieces, and great nephews and nieces.

Jackie is preceded in death by her grandparents and parents; stepmother, Cherie Wilson-Casey; brothers, John Jeffrey (Jeff) Wilson and Timothy Arthur Wilson; and sister-in-law, Barbara Gay Lehman.

A celebration of life will be held for Jackie's family and friends on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota – Brooklyn Park, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park, MN, 55445. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to your local VFW.
