Obituary of Kimberlee Almeda Shuman
Kimberlee Shuman left the party Wednesday, May 10, surrounded by loved ones and laughter. It was a party; if you weren’t there you missed it!
At her highest points she thought she could do anything, including defy gravity. She approached life with love, laughter, and sarcasm. Kim was different in all ways letting her creativity drive her, even if she could never actually drive a car. Her happiest moments were with loved ones making them laugh through any circumstance. While Kim’s greatest strength was bringing smiles to others, what made her smile the most were her two dedicated daughters, Jennifer and Jillian, plus her beautiful granddaughter, Edun, who were her greatest and proudest accomplishments.
In lieu of flowers Family requests donations be made to the brain and behaviour research foundation.
Per Kim’s final wishes, we will host a celebration of life June 18, at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory at 11am in the Berglund Room.
The party is kept alive by her daughters Jennifer (Tyler, Angel of Love) and Jillian (Greg, Chicken Salad King); granddaughter Edun; brothers and sister Adam (Christine), Laura (Seth), and Daniel (Sandra).
Kimberlee joins the after party with her mother Sandra; father Daniel; brother Timothy.
In the immortal words of Kim, “I could be dead," she did it in style.
