Obituary of Patricia June Drift

Patricia J. Drift, 73, of Grand Rapids, MN passed away at Essentia Health Miller Dwan Hospital on May 3, 2023. She was born to June and Louis Young on November 19, 1949, in Deer River, MN.

She attended Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids where she received her Certified Nursing Assistant. She spent years as a factory worker until her retirement in 2013. Patricia loved gardening, playing dice, dancing, singing, and spending time with family and her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Louis and June Young.

Patricia is survived by her sisters Kathy Aagan (Jim), June Smith, daughter Teresa Drift, sons Michael Drift, Kevin Drift, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 11, at 3:00 pm with visitation one hour prior at the Cremation Society of Minnesota located at 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth.
