Obituary of Joanne Ethel Kitzman

Joanne Ethel Kitzman

Passed away on April 13, 2023 at the age of 81.

She was a resident of Farmington and previous longtime resident of Apple Valley.

She was born on February 13, 1942 in Mpls. MN. Daughter of John H Clausen and Marjorie A Clausen (Johnson).

She graduated from St. Louis Park High School and worked in office administration, Human Resources and Sales over the course of her career.

She was one of the original members of the Apple Valley Gardenettes! She had a great passion for gardening, painting, silk flowers, scrapbooking and adored doing almost any arts or crafts with her grandchildren, family or friends.

Joanne had an LVAD (left ventricle assist device) implanted in November of 2017 which gave her an additional 5 years of life to enjoy with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father John H Clausen, mother Marjorie A Clausen (johnson),brother John W Clausen(Uncle Bud), granddaughter Alison B Albright, great granddaughter Lucy A Albright.

She is survived by her son Todd W Kitzman (Cathy), son Michael D Kitzman, daughter Tracy A Albright, grandchildren Andrew J Kitzman (Missy), Katelynn D Albright, Kaylee M Kitzman, Kyla M Kitzman,  Ashley Joanne Kitzman, great grandson Barrett W Kitzman, her sister Barbara Edin (Richard), nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held on June 10th 2023 from 11:30 to 2:00pm Prayer at 12:00 with lunch and sweets to follow at Vermillion River Crossings 21400 Dushane Pkwy. Farmington MN. 55024
