Obituary of Dawn Eilene Evenson

Dawn Eilene Evenson 

June 15, 1963 - April 7, 2023 

Dawn Eilene Evenson (59 years old) passed away on April 7, 2023 at the University of Minnesota hospital.  She was a living miracle in so many ways, was loved by all who knew her, and is finally at peace. Andrew was by her bedside, as was Scott, and all the rest of us were with her in Spirit and in love. She wished that you would be blessed with love in all the ways possible, and live life to its fullest each and every day.  

Born June 15, 1963 in Merrill, WI she was the loving daughter of MaryAnn (Marth) and Harold Woller.  She worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for Lincoln County, Riverside and First Presbyterian church, and Faith Lutheran Church. She was a lifelong member of Faith Lutheran Church in Merrill.    

Dawn had a passion for rummage sale-ing, loved spending time with her great-nephews and great nieces, spending time at the lake in Chetek, and spending time with family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, MaryAnn.  

She is survived by her loving husband, Andrew and her son Jason (Ali), of Merrill, WI; father Harold (Phyllis), siblings Donna (Brian), Allen; nieces Nicole (Jonathan) and Erin (Bret); brother-in-law Scott, sister-in-law Karen, niece Darby, nephews Patrick and Tucker; and her adorable great-nieces and nephews.   

A Service of Celebration and Life will be held at the Chetek United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11am, with visitation at 10am.  There will be a lunch reception to follow at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 2500 University Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414.
