Pamela (Pam) Jean Murphy nee Tereau of Saint Paul, MN, was born 2/2/1952 to Alfred Joseph Tereau Jr and Marguerite Genevieve Tereau of Saint Paul, MN. In 2021 Pam suffered a stroke and was placed at Episcopal Homes for her recovery, she was then transitioned to long term care as she was not able to recover fully from her stroke and needed extra care. Pam had pneumonia and seemed to be recovering, however she ultimately passed away from complications due to her pneumonia.
After graduating from Coon Rapids High School in 1970, Pam attended nursing school to become a licensed practical nurse, which she loved doing until 2022. Pam started working in nursing homes at the age of 15 years old, she was extremely passionate about caring for people from all walks of life. Over the years Pam worked at various places, some of which are The VA hospital in Minneapolis, Episcopal Homes in St. Paul and The Phoenix Residence Inc, where she was a traveling supervising nurse.
Pam met her husband Tom, and they married in 1985 in Saint Paul, MN. They had three children Jennifer Marguerite, John Thomas, and Michael William Murphy.
If you had the honor to know Pam, you know how she took care of everyone, she was one of the most compassionate people you would ever meet. She cared for family, friends and fur babies too. Pam always supported you no matter what, she was behind you 100% in whatever you did. She would often be a subject for Jen while she was in beauty school, she loved cardio drumming with her niece Denise and would buy from school fund raisers from her nieces, nephews and friends’ kids, even if she didn’t need or really want the item(s).
