Obituary of Beverly Ann Keenan

Beverly Ann Keenan (Chapman), 79 of Maplewood, MN, passed away peacefully September 19, at Gracewood Assisted Living in Maplewood, Minnesota. She was born March 20, 1937, in St. Paul, MN, to Daniel and Irene Chapman, of St. Paul. Beverly is remembered as a loving and forgiving wife, mother, sister and dear friend. She enjoyed a profession as a health care provider for many years. Her interests and hobbies included gardening, crocheting, reading, shopping, playing bingo and going on casino trips, but mostly spending time with those she loved. Beverly lived life to the fullest, was fun, tenacious and a resourceful mentor. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and her eldest daughter, Sandra Barton. Beverly is survived by her brothers, Jerry Chapman (Judee), William Chapman and Johnny Chapman; her children, Tom Vandenheuvel (Sue), Betty Vandeheuvel (Paul Allen), J. Patrick Keenan, Geraldine L. Keenan-Friday, Jennifer Keenan Maiga, Jo Anne Sumrall; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless other friends and family members who loved her immensely. In lieu of flowers, Beverly would hope you would do unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for a person or persons in need.
