Obituary of Patricia J. Wenger

Patricia J Wenger (Backlund), age 82 of Minneapolis, formerly St. Paul and Mora, passed away suddenly in her home at Augustana Apartments on October 24th, 2016. Preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Mable Backlund; brother, Dayton Backlund; and faithful Pug, Abilene. Survived by her daughter, Joan Miller (John) of Minneapolis and many wonderful nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Patricia was employed at Northwestern Drug Company for 33 years, and later employed in the restaurant industry for 15 years. She enjoyed creating close and lasting friendships with her coworkers. Patricia loved the ocean, hiking, gardening, baking, photography, dogs (especially Pugs) and horseback riding. No Memorial service at Patricia's request. Private burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Mora, Minnesota.
