Obituary of Roger Walter Fredlund

Roger Walter Fredlund passed away peacefully at his home in Apple Valley, Minnesota on November 3, 2016 at the age of 82. Roger is lovingly remembered by his family: wife Ellen of 55 years, his children Craig Mims, Jean (Bill Oehrlein), JoEllen Wilinski (Paul), Jane Franco (Rafael), Andrew (Kim), Mary Catherine Aaron, beloved niece Kathleen Horan and 14 grandchildren: Whitney, Isaac, and Destiny Mims, Megan, Hannah, Emily and Amanda Franco, Allie, Jacob and Sarah Fredlund, and Steven, Katie, Jenna, and Jodie Aaron. After graduating from St Louis Park High School, class of 1951, Roger began a longstanding career in Sales with Chicago Tube and Iron. Roger enjoyed international travel, trains, fishing, was very proud of his Swedish heritage, and was blessed to cheer his beloved Cubs on to victory. A Memorial service is scheduled for November 11, 2016 at Easter Lutheran Church 4200 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan with visitation from 9:30 10:30 am and service at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Autism Society of Minnesota or Easter Lutheran Church.
