Obituary of Richard Dale Engebretson

Richard (Rick) Dale Engebretson, age 74 of Blaine, MN, passed away on March 8th 2023

Rick was born on October 7th, 1948 in Superior, Wisconsin.  Rick spent most of his life as a machinist where he eventually owned and operated Engebretson Manufacturing with brother Scott Engebretson.  Rick loved and adored his children and grandchildren. He had many passions and interests including reading books, watching reality TV, going to Red Lobster, road trips and traveling with his family. His Dog Kobe was always by his side.

Rick is preceded in death by his mother Velma Labonte; father Elmo Engebretson; brother David; sister Linda (Fry); and grandson Billy (Showers). 

He is survived by his brother Scott Engebretson; his children, Cindy Tews, Eugene (Brenda) Engebretson, Catina (Larry) Lunceford, Marisa (Jason) Borowitz, Jamie (Tim) Leonard, Jessica (Keith) Larson; and his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

A Celebration of Life will be held in June.
