Obituary of Lorraine Jane Austin

Lorraine Jane Austin, age 97, passed away on March 3, 2023, at Yorkshire Senior Living Community in Edina, MN. She was born on January 30, 1926, in Minneapolis. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George; parents, John and Mary; brother, Edward Rutovech; daughter, Barbara Seeleen; and son, William Austin. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ratledge; niece, Susan Riedel; granddaughters, Christina Seelen (Lorraine's primary caregiver), Heather Campbell, and Shannon Hare; and great-grandson, Steven Hare. 

Lorraine was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church for over 50 years.

Services will be held on March 24, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, with visitation from 10 am to 11 am. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
