My sincere sympathy. Barb was one of my oldest friends from high school in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. I was a transfer student (from Massachusetts) my junior year and felt utterly lost. Barb was so kind and welcoming and always had a big, warm smile. She made me a patchwork quilt for a high school graduation gift from some old scraps my mom must have given her. A dozen years later she volunteered to be the photographer at our wedding. I was floored by her talent and generosity. We always talked about going on an adventure together when we retire, and I am so sorry that won't happen now.
