Beverly Ann Beasley

Beverly Ann (Shrodes) Beasley, age 90, of Hopkins, died on February 15, 2023 at home from natural causes. Born and raised in Michigan, she married Rodger L. Beasley in 1951. Together, they and their children lived in Michigan, North Carolina and Michigan again before moving to Minnesota in 1967. Beverly worked as an accounting specialist for Allied Plastics, Northern Propane, Lakeside Toys, Satellite and retired from Opus. Beverly was a crossword fanatic, a lover of music and performing arts, an avid reader, a football and baseball enthusiast and all around class act. She was passionate about those she loved including family and friends (both 2 legged humans and 4 legged dogs especially) She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Leota Shrodes, husband Rodger Beasley, daughters baby Mary Beasley and Wendy Hand, and grandson Michael Hand. She is survived by her son Michael Beasley, her sister Pat Szatkowski, eight grandchildren, several great and two great-great grandchildren, and many other extended family members and friends. At Beverly’s request no funeral services will be held. Internment will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery alongside her late husband Rodger. A private gathering to celebrate and honor Beverly will be held in the spring.
