Obituary of Ronald Lee Caspersen
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Lee Caspersen, who passed away on January 31, 2023 in Duluth, Minnesota. He was born on February 18, 1967 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Ronald and Patricia Caspersen.
Ronald graduated from Denfeld High School and worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed driving, spending time with friends and doing whatever he could to help those who were important to him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents Ron & Pat, sisters Vicky Behrman, Michele (Nathan) LaVine; niece Alyssa (Joe) Holmes; nephews Ryan, Trenton, Christian and Jordan; aunts and uncles; and many friends.
Ronald was a kind-hearted person who always put others before himself. He was an avid listener who had an open heart for those in need of support. He had a generous spirit that was evident through his actions of kindness throughout his life.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s for caring for him and all of the people who have helped him through his many life struggles. In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made to American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or National Alliance of Mental Illness in his memory. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Ronald will be remembered fondly for his generosity and kind spirit that touched everyone he met throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew him and loved him dearly for eternity.
