Hanson, Dorothy Jean (Nelson)

Age 92, of The Wealshire, Bloomington, formerly of Apple Valley, Richfield and Albert Lea, MN, passed away January 24, 2023. Preceded in death by husband of 57 years, James Edgar; parents, Douglas and Myrl Nelson; sister, Joyce Blomquist; brothers; Doug Nelson and Dick Nelson. Survived by sons, David of Burnsville and John (Kathryn) of Blaine; sister, Barbara Brower of Monroe North Carolina; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Memorial service 11 AM, visitation 10 AM Thursday February 23rd at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley 55124. Private internment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.
