Obituary of Samantha Hinojosa
Samantha was born on September 18, 1999, in Edina, Minnesota, to Hector Hinojosa and Maria Calvario. She grew up in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. She loved hanging out with her friends, music, traveling and esspecially visiting her family in Mexico City.
Samantha was looking forward to going back to college to pursue a career as a social worker to help teenagers. She was also excited to travel back to Mexico City with her boyfriend, Caedon, to visit her grandfather and cousin Marcos. Samantha was always looking forward to traveling and venturing to new places.
Samantha was a very funny person; she would always make jokes and made people laugh. She enjoyed reading and had good grades in school; she was part of the gifted and talented program. Her caring heart made an impact towards friends and family, and she was always willing to listen and always gave great advice. She was very brave, not afraid to conquer anything that came her way. Samantha’s smile was contagious, unforgettable, and could light up a room.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother (Marbella Aguilar).
Samantha always was willing to go out and have a good time. She was the type of person to make sure you were in a good state of mind. Her attitude was always positive in any situation she was in.
Samantha is survived by her dad (Hector), her mom (Maria), two brothers (Alex and Julian), her aunt (Marbella), grandfather (Antonio), other uncles, aunts, cousins and her boyfriend.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 4, 2023 at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park, MN. Visitation at 11:00 a.m. and Service at 1:00 p.m.
