Obituary of Roger Henkemeyer

Born on October 4th 1932 in Lynden Township, Minnesota.

Passed away on January 16th 2023.

Most importantly a dad and husband.

He loved his family and friends.

He enjoyed hosting and participating in family gatherings.

He especially enjoyed golf, the Minnesota Vikings and steaks on the grill with his family.

He proved himself to be an example of a person that people grew to love and respect.

He was very active in his community and everyone knew him and his dog Benji as they rode around the neighborhood on his scooter.

He enjoyed working with an investment club with many in his community.

He was a proud veteran of the Korean war.

After the military, he had a long and prosperous career in the industrial cleaning products industry.

He lived in his home in Rosemount, Minnesota until he had a stroke on

December 4th 2022.

He is survived by his children Tom, Jim (Stacy), Ed (Joy), Pam, and Grandchildren Sara and Billie Rae.

Step grandchild Joshua and 2 great grandchildren through Jim and Stacy.

Step grandchildren Kerri (Shane), Laura (Rod), Zeb (Reylin), John (Andrea), Zach (Ashley), Nick (Kim), 17 great Grandchildren and 5 great, great Grandchildren through Joy and Ed.

A funeral will be held at the Minnesota Cremation Society in Edina Minnesota on

February 10th. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM.

Service will begin at 2:00 PM.
