I met Jack at St. Therese. His sister Connie were in the garage and they wanted to come in to st. Therese and I opened the door to let them in. Something I was not to do. That’s how I met Jack and after that , I would see him delivering the newspaper and I was walking the hallways. And he would stop and starting to each other. He would tell me all kinds of stories about his life on his 10 island on land of the Woods. It was Great to hear him talking to me. He was a wonderful man. I really admired him. Love you Jack Carol G.

Dear family of Jack Wollack, My memories of Jack go back to our days at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Laketrails canoe trips, round trip boat journeys from Warroad to Oak Island on the Maris Stella and the Island Queen were shared experiences with Jack and other Laketrails devotees. Fr. Bill Mehrkens and Jack were “spiritual companions” and both embraced the spiritual concept of God’s Divine Presence in all of nature and in the community of human-kind. May Christ Jesus welcome Jack into the wondrous glory of Heaven. -Fr. Duane Pribula (retired priest/pastor living in Moorhead)
