Obituary of Justin Knight

Knight, Justin It is with great sadness to announce that Justin Knight was taken from us unexpectedly at home on January 6th, 2023 at the age of 31. He was born in Robbinsdale Mn. Sept. 18th, 1991. Justin was always full of life and happy and always looking for some kind shenanigans or adventures. He enjoyed frisbee golf, skateboarding, video games, being outside, going for walks, reading, playing cards, He was always curious and striving to learn new things. Family, friends and music were his life. Later when he came back home he enjoyed walks, talking and hanging out with friends and family. He also made a new friend ALEXA. Because of her he was able to talk to friends and family whenever he wanted to.Almost everyday at 5 he called his grandma (Dolores) and everyday he said multiple times ALEXA call......or ALEXA answer call or ..... He enjoyed listening to music and podcasts. Listened to TV shows with a little help. He liked the shows name that tune or anything trivia or questions etc. His latest all time favorite was WEDNESDAY on netflix. He couldnt wait until the 2nd season came out. He also liked to try guess first who sings the song playing on the radio. He liked going for walks, being outside feeling the sunshine on his face. He looked forward to Ashley and Kaden coming over and hanging out and playing toys and parachute game with Kaden. He was always happy to spend time with friends and family and talking to friends and family on the phone too. He wanted to go to Guitar Center, so i took him there. He was so excited, he wanted to buy a guitar and start playing again. He said he really enjoyed that. As we all know Justin, he ended up getting 2 guitars, an electric and acoustic, and of course then came the big amp, the accessories, the guitar stool, peddles, different strings, a hat, shirt and even socks. His mission was complete. 2 1/2 years ago Justin fought hard and beat the odds and survived and he went through life altering procedures and changes that left him blind, deaf in the right ear, couldn't smell and difficulty with balance. But that didn't change who he was, actually he was so very grateful to be alive and so much appreciation for the small simplest things in life. He never complained through it all and was so happy to be home and have a second chance in life. He had hopes and dreams just like the rest of us and the last 2 1/2 years watching him heal and have such strength and so positive and to be so brave and to be looking ahead to a future full of happiness, fun and tons of laughter and having the hope someday he will be able to see again. His sense of humor helped all of us get through this. He had a big personality in the best way possible. He was loyal, protective, caring, sensitive, and always there for you. He put everyone first before him and he cherished each and every one of us. Justin said this customer came in to work asking where the air hose was. He said it's at the corner. She asked where at the corner? He said where the two walls meet. Yeah -- That's our Justin! The best sense of humor ever . It was a miracle he was able to come home and be with us and after all he went through and so happy and grateful to be here and just like that ... with no warning, no signs, no symptoms or anything , he was taken from us, it's not fair and it's so painful. We miss him terribly. So grateful to have him in our lives -truly a blessing. Like his friend Brian Orcutt said "Justin had the ability to make anyone laugh and brighten the room and had such an infectious laugh..... JUST AN AWESOME PERSON" well said. Thank you to all the staff at North Memorial and at Courage Kenny for bringing him back to us 2 1/2 years ago and thank you family and friends who supported him and there for him and making him so very happy. I am grateful for his helper ALEXA. We will all miss his phone conversations and his caring and sincerity and of course his humor that came wth it. I miss the call everyday after work, he talked to me all the way home to make sure I made it home safe. Once I was in the driveway he would say he would turn on the lights and open the door for you and he would unlock the door and greet me with that big smile and he and Leo like he would say... would both be wagging their tails and all excited to tell me about what he heard or learned etc that day, all he went through. He never onced complain-ed and was so generous, sincere, smart, very kind and thoughtful. His sense of humor was great and alot of times went in random directions. His personality was one of a kind ... HE was one of a kind. We all lost such a great man. Our lives will never be the same again. We love you Justin! There to greet him in Heaven ... Grandpa Gerald Warburg, Uncle Kenneth "Scotty" Warburg, Uncle Randy Knight, Great grandparents, family and friends. Deeply missed by... His mom Lorna Knight (Dennis), brother Dylan Knight, Sister Ashley Knight (Gage), Nephew "little sir" Kaden Knight, Grandma Dolores Warburg, His "sweatheart" dog Leo- rarr rarr. Great Uncles and Aunts and extended family and friends. Dad Scott Knight (Betsy), Aunt Jenny (Chris) Hansen, grandparents Richard, Janet Knight, cousins Bailey, Peter and Jacob. Service for Justin will be Thursday, February 2nd, 2023, 6 pm visitation, 7 pm memorial service. Fellowship reception following the service. Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy, Maple Grove MN 55369.
