I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Guy at the VA. Guy was such a vibrant individual. Guy had a great laugh and a colorful personality. He was witty and always fun to have a little chuckle with.
Guy was the newest member of our department and had to learn a whole new set of job skills. He was very organized. He learned what he needed to know quickly, worked hard and was committed to his role. He was often the first person at work and the last person to leave.
I was very impressed with Guy's green thumb. We work in the basement and there is no natural light. We have had a few plants over the years. Guy added to our plant collection and tended to our little garden with such care. He brought in some lights that would give the plants more sunlight. There was a plant that has been part of the collection for almost 5 years. I had never seen it bloom, ever. Under Guy's care the plant was blooming and the other plants were thriving.
Guy is very missed. I wish you peace and strength in this incredibly difficult time.
