Obituary of Robbie Lee Dibble
Robbie Lee Dibble (Collins) passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, in her home at the Sanctuary of West St. Paul, at the age of 66. She was surrounded by family and was loved by many as a resident at the Sanctuary. Born on September 11, 1956, in Garden City, Kansas, she was the loving daughter of Bob and Patricia Collins.
Robbie graduated from Garden City High School in 1974, and attended Garden City Community College. She worked in the home health field as a CNA, then moved on to the family business and managed Prestige Laundry for many years. After that, she opened her own home daycare. After retirement, she left her long time home of Garden City to be closer to her grandchildren in Minnesota.
Robbie had a loving heart, and loved and was loved by everyone! Those who knew her well, knew that she would give you her last dollar if you needed it. She was also not afraid to tell you how to do something the “right” way! She was as sassy as she was caring. She was “Mom,” “Grandma,” or “Aunt Robbie,” to all. She will be dearly missed and remembered fondly by those lucky enough to know her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Patricia Collins, her brother, Keith Collins, and her sister, Jill Collins.
Robbie is survived by her daughter, Katy and husband Cary Palacio, and granddaughters Kiera and Kaylee; her son, Glen and wife Alisha, and grandsons Blayton, Jance, and Jaron; her sister Cindy and husband Randy, and nephew Brandon; her nephew Sean Collins and wife Kelsey Duncan, and great nieces Ophelia and Fiona; her nephew Shannon Collins; and all her other “children,” “grandchildren,” and “nieces and nephews.”
Robbie has requested that there is no service. A small family service will be held in Garden City in the Spring. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
