Obituary of Mary Agnes Knoll

Knoll, Mary Agnes, age 91 of Bloomington, MN, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2022.  Mary was a Registered Nurse, a healer, a compassionate listener, a creative soul, a loving mother of 5 children and a very kind and empathetic person.  She loved to entertain with her family and cherished walks in nature and adored her beloved dogs.  She will be dearly missed.

Mary was preceded in death by parents Franklin and Agnes Knoll; brother, John Knoll (Concy Rajkumar); Sister, Elizabeth (Bill) Kane; and former husbands, John Hamel, father of her children and Dwight Jennings. 

She is remembered with love by sister, Helen (Dave) Fitzgerald; brother, Frank (Margot) Knoll; children, Tom (Marcie) Hamel, Bill (Nahid Motevazeh) Hamel, Mary Beth (Kelan) Werkmeister, John (Corinna) Hamel and Susan (Tim) Podas; grandchildren, Steph (Nichole), Greg, Alex, Bryce (Katie), Lucy (Wade), Collin, Kristin (Connor), Ryan, Karin, Ian, Kathrin, Oren, Matthew and Mari; great-grandchildren, Toby, Sloan, Abarrane, Ayla, Maya and Yara; as well as many other family members and friends.

A celebration of life mass will be December 2nd, 2022 at St Joan of Arc Church at 4537 3rd Ave. in S. Minneapolis.  10:00 AM visitation followed by funeral at 11:00 with luncheon to follow.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Secondhand Hounds or the animal rescue of your choice.
