Obituary of Wyn Ann Massey

Wyn Ann Massey, born January 11, 1955 in Minneapolis, passed away on October 20, 2022. Wyn was proceeded in death by her parents, Edmund and Janet Massey and son, George Carr. Survived by her daughter Emily Carr (Nathan Willer), siblings Rod (Sarah), Alison, and Duncan (Patty) Massey, grandkids Frederick and Shayne and many other extended family and friends.

Active in the labor movement, Wyn worked many years as a business agent representing workers for several unions and supporting justice for workers. She participated in the Twin Cities Labor Chorus during her retirement and valued the many friendships and connections she developed over the years in the labor community.

We will all miss her singing, music playing, jovial storytelling, and loving heart that gave us joy. With a heavy heart, and saddened soul we give our mother, grandmother, and sister back to the universe.

A celebration of life is planned on November 12 at the Cremation Society of Minnesota in Minneapolis, with a visitation at 1:30 and service at 2:00. Memorials are requested to Simpson Housing Services, https://simpsonhousing.org/get-involved/donate/
