Obituary of H. Douglas Feriancek

On Thursday, October 27, 2022, Doug Feriancek, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 80 years old.

Born July 29, 1942, in Blackduck, MN. He enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1968, and went on to serve his country in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1972 and achieved the rank of SGT E5.

He married Sandra in 1976. They raised two children Terri and John in Minneapolis, MN. He worked at MN Rubber until he retired in 2000.

Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading Clive Cussler Novels. He also enjoyed spending time with fellow Veterans and neighbors.

He will be forever missed by his wife Sandy of 46 years. Daughter Terri, son John (Amy). Grandchildren, Jimmy, Tommy, and Lydia. Brother Ed and many nieces and nephews,

Preceded in death by his Father John, Mother Dorothy, Step Father Parle, Sister’s Carol and Linda.

Memorial Luncheon November 22, 2022, at 12pm, VFW Post 555, 6715 Lake Shore Drive South, Richfield, MN 55423.

Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
