Obituary of Doris Anne Amundson

Doris Anne Amundson, age 90. Passed away November 1, 2022. Born January 25, 1932 in Durand, WI

 

Graduated: Class of 1950, Arkansaw High School, Arkansaw, WI.

 

Occupation & type of industry: Doris became the CEO/COO (aka housewife) for a non-profit company (aka her home).  She created a warm and safe place for family and friends to fall, learn, and grow.  With her  mostly non-judgmental heart, she received our fears, confessions, and dreams. The home was always open with a warm meal and a warm bed.  She was our anchor.

 

Preceded in death by; 

Husband: Dean Arnold Amundson born 8-7-1931 died 8-18-2017. Married 9-12-1950

 

Parents: Clarence Webb and Elva G. Richardson Webb Caturia

Siblings; Thomas Webb and John/Jack/Webb

Daughter Mary Amundson

Son-in-Law Clinton Muskopf

Brother-in-law Larry George

Survived by;

Siblings: William (Elaine) Webb,   Mary (Jerome) Fisher,  Jane George, James (Shirley) Webb.

Children: Deborah  Muskopf, Michael Amundson,  Jennifer Webb.

son-in-law Barney Robinson

Nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

 

There will be no funeral or memorial service.

Dean and Doris will be laid to rest at:  Trinity Lutheran Church of Norden, S367 County Road Y, Mondovi, WI
