Obituary of Dianne D. Cooke

Dianne D. (Karschnia) Cooke

Died October 6th, 2022, at the age of 83, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s.  Dianne was an Eastsider, a long time teacher in the St. Paul school district and a member of the Mounds Park Methodist Church.  She is survived by her special niece, Betsy Williams and grandniece, Meghan Karschnia, who both were greatly influenced by Dianne’s love and generosity.  Dianne is also survived by Betsy’s husband Angelo Williams, sons Peter and Sam; niece Nancy (Greg) Kassekert and their children, Emily (Utech), Stephen and Adam and their families;  niece Sarah (Nick) Zitzer and their children Amanda, Karen, Nick, Charlie and Hannah and their families.  

Dianne was a lover of music, cats, figure skating and travel. 

Preceded in death by parents George and Edna Karschnia and brother Keith (Sharon) Karschnia.

Memorial service at Mounds Park Methodist Church, 1049 Euclid Street, St. Paul, MN 55106, on December 3, 2022. Visitation at 1:00 PM with Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM. Private interment.
