Obituary of Patricia Ann Larson
Patricia Ann Larson, age 72 of Hermantown Minnesota returned to the Father on October 12th, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth Minnesota.
Patricia was born to Carl Johan Larson and Lucille Ruth (Ralston) Larson on December 17, 1949 in Duluth Minnesota. She graduated from Hermantown High School in 1968. After High School she completed Beauty School in Minneapolis. Shortly into her beauty profession, she became seriously ill with hydrocephalus. Through the care of her mother, Patricia made a miraculous recovery and was able to hold high level positions at the EPA of Duluth and the Border Patrol in Deming, New Mexico.
On Febuary 19th, 1982 Patricia gave birth to her only child Lori Ann Larson (father Jim Raich), a blessing to her as she was told having children would be impossible due to her previous illness. Lori devoted the last 4 years taking care of Patricia in the house of Carl and Lucille on Alexander Rd.
Patricia, also known as Pat or Patty loved music. She was very musically inclined and loved playing multiple instruments such as piano and accordion. She loved playing with her cousin Ray Ahlgren. She volunteered playing for local nursing homes and VFWs.
Patricia was known for her funny off-the-wall responses. She was also sweet and absolutely loved her dogs, especially Ricky, Kichi, and Gubben.
Patricia was proceeded in death by her father Carl and mother Lucille of Hermantown, cousin Ray Ahlgren of Duluth and brother-in-law Barry Williams also of Duluth. She is survived by her daughter Lori Larson, her sister Janice (Barry) Williams, nephew Jay Williams and niece Tricia (Matt) Maldonado, special friends Jim Raich and Jerry Novak and numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will take place at the East Side Vineyard 3833 E. Superior St, Duluth MN 55804 at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct 24, 2022 with a service at 11:00 a.m. and reception to follow. A graveside service at Bethany Cemetery 4938 Hermantown Road in Hermantown, MN at 1:30 p.m.
