Jean Ann Sorenson

9/9/1952- 9/28/2022

A resident of Hopkins, Minnesota. Graduate of Luther College,with a University of Kansas Graduate Degree in Medical Records. Jean retired from a medical career that started as a candy striper at Theda Clark Hospital in her Hometown of Neenah. She was a medical records administrator in Wausau, Wisconsin, Fort Wayne, Indiana Area and after receiving an RN she worked at United Health Care. A lifelong Packer fan she was proud to be Max McGee’s Avon Lady in high school. She traveled extensively to Europe, Scandinavia, South America and Australia. She participated in community and charitable acvities in the local community and went on Church missions. Her parents Jens H. and Irene J. Sorenson predeceased her along with her favorite dog, Lambeau. She is survived by her brother, James L. Sorenson and his wife Peggy Hill and the Hill family relatives in the Pacific Northwest that she enjoyed visiting.

A service will be held November 1, 2022 at Mount Olivet Church 5025 Knox Ave South MSP at 1PM.

In lieu of flowers a memorial to Luther College in Decorah, Iowa or your favorite charity is suggested.
