Obituary of Richard William Bland

Died 5 days before his 100th birthday on September 27, 2022. Richard spent most of his career working for Great Northern Railroad as a machinist. He served in the Navy on a supply ship in the north Atlantic during WWII. His wife H. Eileen predeceased him. He is survived by his sons: Richard (Cathy) of Burnsville, Mark (Hiroko) of Murrieta CA, Gary (Deb) of Forest Lake, and Tim (Kim) of Lindstrom and many grandchildren. Services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church 2119 Stillwater Avenue, St. Paul. Visitation will take place at 10am on November 8th followed by mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Internment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at 1:30pm. Cremation Society of MN.
