Obituary of Gary Russell Mohr

Gary Russell Mohr, age 76, passed away at his home in Solon Springs, WI on September 23, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd “Bud” Mohr, mother, Stenette (Flemmen)Mohr, brother David Mohr, sisters, Aurelie Rowell, Joyce Jezierski, and Joan Salmi.

He is survived by his wife Sally (Keuten Gamache) Mohr; sister Kay (John) Olson; mother-in-law Joy Keuten; daughters, Stephanie (Kevin) Fawcett, Kim (Bret) Walczynski; stepchildren, Michael Gamache, Thomas “TJ” (Christine) Gamache, Malinda Rinnet, Donna Beck; grandchildren, Kayla (Melissa) Fawcett, Reilly Fawcett, Nicholas (Brittney) Balduc, Owen Walczynski, Lilly and Thomas “Tee” Gamache, Danika Beck, Luke Decker, Morgan Grape; great-grandchildren, Logan, Lucas, Leighton and Lila Balduc.

Gary retired from Minnesota Power after 29 years of service as a Customer Service Representative. Gary’s philosophy was “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. Of course, Gary always caught the biggest and the most fish.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at 3:00 pm, visitation will be one hour prior, with reception to follow the service, all at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN.
