Obituary of Cherie Yavonne Lewis

Cherie Yavonne Lewis 

April 9, 1947-July 13, 2022

Cherie passed away peacefully at Regions Hospital after battling a terminal illness.  She was 75 years young.  

Cherie was born at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul to Doris Washington and Henry Lewis.  She was a graduate of Mechanic Arts high school in 1965.  She had a passion for sports (all sports) and she loved to entertain family and friends.  She was attracted to the West Coast and spent 30+ years in the service industry traveling from LA, Sacramento, Pinole, San Francisco, and Richmond California.

Cherie is preceded in death by her Father Henry Lewis and Brother Thurman Wade Lewis.

She is survived by her Mother Doris Washington of Omaha Nebraska, her Sisters Jo Hyatt, Sabrine Hasan, and Sandra Wilson of St. Paul, MN.,  Blanche Stevens of California, and by her Son Randy Butler of Texas.
