Louella Tenborg Rosenfield

Louella Tenborg Rosenfield, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27. She wanted everyone to know she “loved, laughed, sang, and danced.” In her own words, “it was a lovely ride.” Louella attended Adas Israel Synagogue in Duluth.

Louella is preceded in death by sons Stanton and Stephen; grandson Joseph; former husband, Harold Rosenfield; mother Gertrude (Tenborg) Hamer; and father, Calvin Tenborg.

She is survived by her sons Robert (Maddie) of Stevens Point, WI; Timothy (Kathleen) of Golden Valley, MN; Adam (Lisa) of Eagan, MN; daughter Penny Joy Franco (Joe) of St. Paul; cousin Mary Lou (Karl) Sharp of Edina; her dearest friend and “sister” Majel Folen of Duluth. She will be dearly missed by her eleven grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, from 2-4 pm at the First Memorial Funeral Chapel/Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4100 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN.
