Obituary of Colleen Rose Kollasch

Colleen Rose Kollasch, age 82, of Columbia Heights, MN, formerly of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away on August 29, 2022.  Colleen was born in West Bend, IA to Roy and Regina (Dunn) Forsythe. 

She is survived by sister Georgeanne Hadley, sons Patrick, Joseph (Cher), Anthony, and Christopher (Ronni); grandchildren Jamie, Becky (Bryce), Samantha, Kayla (Austin), Jacob, Lexy, MacKenzie, Benjamin, and Quinn; and great-grandchildren Tatum and Hank. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son Michael, sister Shirley Goldtrap, and brothers Ray, Roy, Jim, Bob, and George.  John and Colleen were married on November 25, 1961, and made their home in Brooklyn Park, MN raising 5 children there.  Colleen enjoyed playing cards, reading, and spending time with family.   

Private interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on October 17, 2022. 

A celebration of Colleen’s life will be held on Monday October 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Chris & Ronni Kollasch’s house: 24123 Superior Drive, Rogers, MN 55374. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family to be used towards purchasing new items for the residents of New Perspectives Assisted Living in Columbia Heights, MN.
