Marion Cecilia Hanson, of Forest Lake, MN, formerly Fredrick, WI 91 years, Passed on 8-21-2022

 Born in New Richmond, WI. Preceded in death by husbands Raymond Hanson and Ivan Nelson, ten siblings, grandson DuWayne Grossendorf and Cherie Nelson Survived by her children with Ray Hanson: Deb Horvath (Terry), Linda Allen (Jim) Laurie DuCharme (Bill), Michael Hanson (Dorene), Tim Hanson (Christine), Tom Hanson (Linda), Greg Hanson, Jenny Hanson, 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren.  Also survived by the Children of 2nd husband: Ivan Nelson: Cherie Nelson husband (Ken), Phillip Nelson ( Cande), Bob Nelson (Vicky), Gary Nelson.  

She will be deeply missed. To her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was Gran and a fairy tale grandma, profoundly generous and devoted to her family. She was determined, patient, open to change in the face of a long life full of challenges. She loved to dance and cook for her family, caring for grandchildren and great grandchildren and make incomparable apple pie. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025. Visitation will be held at 10AM, Service at 11AM, with luncheon to follow.
