Obituary of Kevin Alpha Nelson

Kevin Alpha Nelson, age 54 of Mound, MN passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13th surrounded by his wife, mother, and children. Kevin spent 35+ years in the special event and entertainment industry. He was hard working and a creative problem solver. He loved pretending to have a sense of humor and trying to play golf with his friends. He enjoyed boating, camping, and outdoor activities with his family and he loved his dogs. He really enjoyed driving and in fact, drove many of his peers crazy with his antics (written by Kevin himself). Preceded in death by his father John Nelson and his beloved grandparents. Survived by his mother Mary Tisdel Nelson; wife Allison Munsell; his children Nika, Chloe, Parker and Sam Nelson; his brother Todd Nelson (wife Terri); cherished sister Lisa (Nelson) Brink, as well as several nieces and nephews.

River Valley Church holds a special place in his heart and so a public celebration of life will be held there: 5595 Westwood Ave Mound, MN 55364 on Monday, August 22nd. Service will start at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am.
