Obituary of Patsy Ann Fahnberg
Patsy Ann ( Dooley ) Fahnberg passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2022 with family by her side. Patsy was born on April 28th, 1930 in Clearwater, Minnesota. Patsy graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1948. Patsy was married to her husband Harley William “ Bill “ Fahnberg for 19 years. They built a beautiful home in Bloomington, MN. After he died, Patsy maintained and grew it by herself.
Patsy loved traveling, gardening, cooking, attending her two son’s activities, attending church, hosting, and attending family functions; however, her greatest joy was interacting with others. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Harley William Fahnberg, parents Mildred and Palmer Dooley, sister Colleen Thoreson, brother-in-law Hugh Janz, brother Michael, sister-in-law Kathy, mother-in-law Ella Fahnberg, father-in-law Einar Fahnberg, sister-in-law Marcene Guetzko, brother-in-law Myrlin Guetzko, nephew Dean Guetzko, and several other dear aunts, uncles and cousins. Patsy is survived by sons Craig and Robert ( Cheryl ) Fahnberg, grandchildren Jake ( Amber ), Katy, great-granddaughter Emma, brother-in-law David Thoreson, sister-in-law Erica Dooley, nephew Bob ( Kathy ) Guetzko, niece Sheila ( Henry ) Fritchman, nephew Hugh Janz, and many other extended family members.
A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Edina,7110 France Ave. S. Edina, MN. 55435, on September 21st at 9:30 am. Patsy’s funeral service will follow at 10:30 . A luncheon will follow. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, 7601 34th Ave. S . Minneapolis, MN. 55450, at 2:00 pm. Memorials are preferred to the Disabled American Veterans.
