Obituary of Patrick Gene Alderson

Patrick Gene Alderson was preceded in passing by parents, Herbert C. Alderson and Alice R. Alderson, brother and sister, Neal Alderson and June (Alderson) Patrick; survived by brother, Danny and many nieces and nephews. Our loved son and brother Patrick age 80 passed on May 6, 2022. Pat gradudated from St. Louis Park High. One year later, he entered the U.S. Navy and 26 years later he retired as Master Chief. He will be remembered as a loving, caring, big hearted, generous man. He lived out his dream of being in his own house until it was time to go home. He was a warrior till the end, he fought off cancer three times and won. Dementia was taking its toll toward the end, but his big heart finally had enough. 

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. at the Cremation Society of Minnesota at 7100 France Avenue in Edina, Minnesota.

His interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery following the service, at 10:45 A.M. on that Friday, September 2, 2022.
