Ross was a great professor and a joy to be around. While a student at Geneva College I saw him as insightful and approachable, certainly the best teacher I ever had. Always a smile, a joke but never remember his singing! Only vocals I ever heard from him were during broom ball games and getting whacked on the shins. I am filled with such great memories and am thankful for the privilege to get to know him. For his family, truly sorry for your loss but I hope comfort is found in knowing he will continue to have a profound impact on those who connected with him. John Dittmar Class of 80

Ross was the best thing that happened to me at Geneva College. He gave fatherly advice through the years. He was a voice of reason, inspiring, with enough sense of humor to fill a cruise ship. I'm so glad that we finally got a chance to break bread together again, even if there was a 44 year gap. I spoke with him a few days ago told him I loved him and thanks for enhancing my journey.
