Carmen Paulene Bartlette

December 20, 1938 - June 24, 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Carmen Paulene Bartlette.  Carmen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She left this world on June 24th, 2022 at the age of 83.  She passed in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born to Refugio and Mae Ruiz on December 20, 1938. 

She is preceded in death by husband, Wilmer Bartlette; and daughter, Cheryl Ann Turner.

Carmen is survived by her remaining 5 children, Mary Griggs, Stephen Bartlette, Sandra Barillas, Mark (Lynda) Bartlette and Luke (Kim) Bartlette.  She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Carmen was full of life!  She most enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and dancing.  Carmen was a lifelong resident of South St. Paul and had a talent for telling stories.  She had a beautiful smile and a huge heart.  She will be missed dearly. 

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 8th at 11:30 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church - 840 19th Avenue North - South St. Paul, MN. 

Visitation will be held at the church prior from 10:30 - 11:30 AM.
