On June 9^th, 2022 we lost our beloved Nancy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a devoted friend to many.

Nancy was born on March 13, 1936, the second of four daughters, born to James Louis Toman, Jr., and Belle Marie (McDonell) Toman. Patty, Nancy, Nola, and Karen were raised in Menasha, WI with a brief foray to Washington State. By the time she graduated from Menasha High, she was already dating the love of her life, Robert George Kessler. They were married for over 66 years and had two very-loved children, Tanya Marie Kessler and Anthony James Kessler. They were also blessed with three beautiful granddaughters, Elizabeth Belle Johnson, Alana Mary Kessler, and India Marie Charles, as well as great-granddaughter, Sofia Belle DesJardin.

Nancy was a fashion buyer and bookkeeper for many years and volunteered for the United Way, Feingold Association, Meals on Wheels and the Sawyer County Senior Board in Exeland, WI. She and Bob also drove seniors to medical appointments all over northwest Wisconsin. She was proud of her 51 years of sobriety and was a growth group leader for many years, helping others achieve success in their sobriety as well.

She was loving, generous, witty, smart and fun and will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park, MN with a visitation at 5PM and Service at 6PM.
